INDUSTRIAL DOOR HARDWARE

Swing Doors

The biggest breakthrough in the door industry, since the "hole in the wall", has arrived in South Africa. The Bernos polycarbonate Swing Door is the ideal solution to ensure hygiene and safety standards within the food industry. Bernos’ tough, well engineered doors can withstand a great deal of wear without losing their hygiene properties.

Swing Doors

Bernos swing doors have been developed in close co-operation with architects who are familiar with the special needs and demands of today’s industry i.e. from abattoirs, butcheries, meat processors, packaging and warehousing through to the supermarkets.

The doors are tailored to meet the customers’ specific needs and are available in seven colour versions. The swing doors will not collect dust, mould or bacteria as they are completely seamless and therefore also resistant to the penetration of moisture. Adjoining rooms with a temperature differential require specific attention where their resistance to distortion and wet and dry rot are particularly important.

High Speed & Rapid Doors

Bernos has developed individual Automatic High Speed Traffic Doors to suit every application.

The principle of the Nergeco Roll-Up or Fold-Up door Is unique.

High Speed Door

The Nergeco concept is a flexible curtain, supported throughout its surface area by horizontal rods which are fully inserted within it. These rods push the curtain from inside and hold it firmly into the side guides. The uniform positioning of these horizontal rods, from the top to the bottom, make the Nergeco curtain seal better at both high level and floor level.

This technical innovation gives two additional major benefits:

  • The force of the wind meets with a resistance spread over the full surface of the opening - the Nergeco curtain resists wind pressure more effectively.

  • By design, the greatly reduced weight at the bottom of the Nergeco curtain makes it the safest available.

++ Its flexibility affords damage limitation and personal safety ++

Sectional Door
Crawford offers a complete range of overhead sectional doors. The Crawford 542 (PDF) overhead sectional door, an insulated sandwich panel door, and Crawford 242  (PDF) overhead sectional door, a glazed frame door, are both traditional sectional overhead doors, with the entire door blade slides up under the roof when opened.

These doors are designed to save as much space as possible around the door opening. They integrate with all industrial and commercial buildings. The doors provide good tightness and insulation. They can be supplied as fully covered or semi-glazed versions or fully glazed for optimal daylight inlet or exposure possibilities.
