"The
Bridge That Links The Total Materials Handling Systems Together"
MATERIAL
HANDLING DOCKING
SOLUTIONS
The "Bottle
Neck" in any industrial factory, warehouse and storage place,
is undoubtedly the receiving and despatch loading bays and / or
the loading and unloading of distribution trucks.
These "Bottle Necks" are expensive in
terms of time delays, double handling, damages, injuries,
temperature and pilferage etc., hence more and more companies are
looking at "uncorking" these "Bottle Neck"
areas by means of streamlining the flow of material handling.
In Southern Africa, the sad facts are that only
50% of established industrial premises including warehouses,
factories, distribution and shopping centres, and only 30% of
those under construction, are geared to modem handling methods.
The 3rd phase of material handling
is now entering Southern Africa's distribution field i.e.
dedicated and centralised warehousing, dedicated transport,
roll-tainer / cages, pallets etc.
Take advantage of the Dock Equipment offered by DDL,
